We do offer virtual estimates for exterior painting projects. We understand that not everyone’s schedule allows for an in-person consultation. We offer free estimates, both in-person and virtual. Please follow the instructions below to receive your virtual estimate. Ensure you read the requirements carefully, as we strictly adhere to them.
- Fill out the form.
- Submit at least four pictures of your home, one of each side. If you have additional structures, such as sheds or a detached garage, please submit additional photos of each side of these structures.
- If you need any wood replacement, please submit a video no longer than 45 seconds for each area. These videos must remain under one minute to ensure they are easy to transport. There should be one video for each piece of wood that needs to be replaced.
- After filling out this form, you must schedule a virtual consultation to review the scope of work and the price before we send a written estimate. This is mandatory.
Please read this entire section about the process and what to expect:
- No deposit is required. Payment is due upon completion. Once the job is 100% done, you will receive an invoice with instructions on how to mail us a check. Payments can also be broken up into four monthly installments at no additional cost. See here for more information: Extended Payment Options for Painting Services.
- As reflected in your estimate, we accept credit cards with a 3% service fee.
- We accept payments via Zelle if your bank supports it.
- These are our only payment methods.
- The price we give you is all-inclusive, covering both labor and materials. The only exception is a wood replacement, for which we will invoice you separately for the cost of the material with no markup. We can provide a receipt for the materials upon request. All our painting services include labor and materials (paper, tape, caulking, paint, etc.)
- How long does it take? The average job takes about three or four days. Please keep in mind that this is an average; we do not make any promises regarding how long your project will take. Typically, once we start a job, we do not leave until it is completed. This depends on weather and other external factors.
- Our Painting Process: We will use a pressure wash to remove dirt and pollen from the house. If there is excessive paint peeling, this will also help expedite the prepping process. We will handle all the prep work, including scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming. We protect everything not getting painted, such as your sidewalks and windows. We apply the paint using a combination of brushing, rolling, and spraying techniques. We apply two coats of paint to every surface. It’s not unusual for two coats to be applied on the same day once the first coat is dry to the touch. After the second coat, we remove the plastic and tape from the home, take care of any touch-ups, and clean up. Once the job is completed, my crew leader will walk through the job with you to ensure everything is to your liking. We will send an invoice once everything has been completed and signed off on.
- Colors: Colors do not affect the price. Since we apply two coats, we do not offer a one-coat system. I often tell people that unless you want polka dots or stripes, color does not affect the price. We also have a color consultant who works with us free of charge on projects over $5000.
- The paint we use: We recommend Sherwin-Williams Emerald for exterior painting. This top-of-the-line paint is highly recommended in Colorado, where we face intense sun and extreme elements. We also offer SuperPaint, which is a few steps below Emerald, though we highly recommend Emerald. Remember, we apply two coats; some companies might offer only one coat, but we do not recommend or offer that.
Important things to remember:
- No money upfront.
- We apply two coats and recommend using Sherwin-Williams Emerald.
- Colors don’t affect the price.
- The average job takes three or four days.
- The price we give you is all-inclusive, except for materials for wood replacement.
