When we provide cabinet painting services at Robinson Painting, we don’t just send a crew in to do the fastest job possible and then call it a day. Instead, we start with a careful evaluation of your cabinets and paint choices. Then we prepare a thoughtful, comprehensive plan and estimate for you.
You’re sure to meet Adam Robinson, our owner, and a third-generation painter committed to providing personal, quality service no matter how big or small your job may be. Our crews have up to 20 years of experience creating beautiful home designs, and our goal is your complete satisfaction.
High-Quality Cabinet Painting Services in Your Area
When you look for cabinet painting services, choosing a local professional team can make a difference in getting the quality you deserve. We’re a proud part of your community, which means that we care about our local reputation. At Robinson Painting of Colorado, we strive to give you not only the best end-result possible but to treat you and your home with the utmost respect.
We know that cabinet painting is a multi-stage affair, so our crews won’t expect to get by with merely slapping on the paint. Instead, our skilled craftsmen will give their full attention to each step in the process. We use the utmost care in prepping the cabinets for painting, installing the hardware, and doing any touch-up work after the main job is complete.
Cost of Cabinet Refinishing and Painting Services
Multiple factors can affect the cost of your cabinet painting project. Your quote will depend upon your cabinets’ size and number, how old they are, their current finish quality, your chosen paint or stain, and how many drawers and doors they contain. We also ask you to consider whether you would prefer to have your cabinets painted on-site—or removed, painted, and reinstalled.
Cabinet Refinishing
If your cabinets are old and the wood has started to degrade, you may have thought of purchasing new cabinetry. In most cases, however, we can rescue and restore your cabinets. We will tell you if we believe we cannot satisfactorily refinish your old cabinets. In turn, this saves you a lot of money.
We can strip your cabinets down to bare wood and then repair any cracks, missing corners, or broken doors. Next, we’ll prepare the wood for staining or painting, and finally, refinish the cabinetry in the color and style of your choice. New hardware can provide a final touch for cabinets to make them look new again.
Our Cabinet Painting Services & Preferred Products by Sherwin Williams

With our cabinets, we typically use Emerald Urethane (we have upgraded from Pro Classic, referenced in the video), which is an excellent product by Sherwin Williams. It is a coating that dries hard, which gives you a very similar finish that you would get in a cabinet shop but without all the harsh chemicals. We do everything on-site, so it makes the process simple and affordable. Emerald Urethane by Sherwin-Williams is a durable product for painting or repainting your cabinets.
We offer cabinet paint services Lafayette, Broomfield, Arvada, Boulder, Louisville, and across the Front Range of Colorado.
Cabinet Repainting
If the only problem with your cabinets is aesthetics, repainting can be the answer. We can quickly transform your cabinetry with a new color of paint—or, if they are stained, get back to basics with a natural wood stain. You can choose the option you most prefer, and our crew will strip away the old paint or stain before prepping the exposed wood for the new coating.
Our crew can complete repainting or staining at your home, or we can remove the cabinets to do the work off-site. Upon reinstallation, you’ll enjoy their appearance and use their new look as a starting point for fresh décor.
